- 0.2 NSCA CEU (Category D)
In this session, Dr. Ben Reuter provides a general overview of the functional anatomy of the upper and lower extremities.
(NOTE: This is a review and not an “all inclusive” anatomy course – major movements of muscles are included though)
- To understand the basic descriptions of body segment movement and types of muscle contractions
- To recognize the major muscles involved with movements of the body segments and the bones that make up the major joints of the body
- To understand that multiple muscles are responsible for body segment movements; rarely is only a simple muscle activated.
