Andy Galpin, Ph.D., CSCS, NSCA-CPT
Dr. Galpin has a PhD in Human Bioenergetics and is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Sport Performance at CSU Fullerton. He is also the director of the Biochemistry and Molecular Exercise Physiology Laboratory. Dr. Galpin’s research focuses on examining the acute responses and chronic adaptations to high power/velocity/force exercise in human skeletal muscle. His work with UFC fighters has been featured on numerous media outlets such as Fox TV, UFC Rising, Road to the Octagon, Inside MMA, the Jason Ellis Show, the Joe Rogan Experience, and many more. He has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations. Dr. Galpin focuses his coaching efforts on a number of sports/activity, but focuses heavily on combat sports and (Olympic) Weightlifting.
