Summary

Typical barbell and dumbbell training provides a static resistance because of its rigidity.  Many athletes, especially those in contact sports, encounter an active resistance, rather than a static resistance, during training.  To help the athletes be prepared for this active resistance we supplement traditional training methods with these water filled implements in their training programs.
